As I mentioned in the Atlas Magazine post, I have a scallops brush tutorial to share with you. It’s a shorty because it reuses many of the techniques I’ve shown in my previous brush tutorials, such as Steps 3, 6, and 8 in the Pixels Brush tutorial. This time, instead of using single pixels, we’re going to use large circles (or any circle size you like, really).
Member Download
Members can download 10 scallop brushes at the bottom of this post. There are 5 “roller brushes” and 5 single impression brushes (scalloped edges). Scallops would look cute as semi-transparent photo tape for your collages. You could also use them as simple photo embellishments or as single-sided frames. I hope you enjoy making and using scallops!
Clement Snapshots
By the way, I took theses photos on Clement Street in SF. Some of the pictures were taken inside Park Life, an adorable store and gallery nestled between Grain D’Or and SeedStore, and half a block away from Toy Boat Cafe. I loooooove Clement Street.
