Micaela Greg A/W 2013 Collection
In January, I won the most awesome giveaway. It happened on Honey Kennedy, and I got a gift certificate to Micaela Greg. What luck — I couldn’t believe it! With so much beautiful knitwear to choose from, it took me a while to decide. In the end, I chose the Triangle Knotted Scarf. It’s versatile and lovely, and now that we’re hitting 30 degree lows here in the Rogue Valley, I’ve been wearing it almost everyday. And truly, it’s my favorite accessory for style and comfort in cold weather. The scarf feels good — it’s just warm and buttery, comfy cozy. And then I ended up buying this sweater a few months later… just as nice.
CSS Gradient Rollovers
For the web enthusiasts among you — hover your mouse over the images. Give it a try now. What you’re seeing is not a Photoshop gradient but pure CSS. And, the captions are not images either but HTML. I finally figured out how to apply CSS gradients to images on a mouseover. I think it would be a fun topic for a future screencast and it’s on my todo list for sure. But, if you’re curious at this very moment, feel free to check out the source code on this HTML collage.
